As Light as a Feather

Just a quick journal share this morning (still morning here in CA) whilest having my last cup of coffee. Caffeine is the BEST starter fluid I know of.....LOL.

I pulled out my Tangle / Doodle journal a couple days ago to finish the very last page, but as I flipped through it I landed on a page that I thoroughly HATED!  I couldn't jerk it out and toss it, because I like the other side, so I painted it with black acrylic.    Once it was dry I traced a feather stencil I have had for a couple of weeks, with a white Gel pen.  Then I took it to sofa, turned on NCIS reruns and started to doodle away.  As the gel dried some of the color started to appear.........cool, almost like scratch art eh?  That gel pen must have a touch of alcohol in it to dissolve  the paint.

So that's my Saturday share, still have that last page, in the journal, to do.........LOL

Caffeine--yes!
Lovely feathers!! Very delicate against the black. :)
That black really made those feathers pop. And the colors showing through like scratch art made the feathers even more enjoyable.

I was planning to watch NCIS, but got caught between the garden and the computer because I still haven't visited everyone who visited me this week from all SEVEN blog hops I was in.
