Put the Kettle On, It's Time for Tea
Oh My Goodness, it's been a week since I last posted, and now it is Time For Tea again!!
Sorry about the glare in this photo, I took the picture through a glass case, but just had to get a picture of it for Tea with Elizabeth and the gang.
This past week we spent Wednesday through Sunday in Temecula with the Heatland RV group. The weather was beautiful until Friday night when we really had some WEATHER!!! Yep, it finally rained in SOCAL! But Thursday DH and I went down into old town Temecula and kicked around awhile, checking out the antique shops.
This is the tea bag, there was also a little trivet to put the used bag on. The tea bag is made of a stiff nylon (would be my guess). I thought it was so clever I brought my used tea bag home....LOL
I did spend the afternoons, sitting in the sun working on my Today journal. Finished one page and have two others started. Will show them at a later dated.
So that's about it for this past week, we met some new friends and enjoyed some of the people we met last year at the rally. Bob relaxed, in the trailer, in the recliner, in front of the TV most of the time. I dilly dallied around with art stuff. I did find a stamp store in Temecula that I had not been to before. They now know me quite well. Might show off the new stash tomorrow, right now it is time for a shower, PJs and Dancing with the Stars. I'll make tea rounds in the morning......on Tuesday.....GRIN!

Some of the interesting things in the antique and collectable shops, and my glass of wine at the end of the day |
Found some interesting teas in an Olive Oil tasting shop, of all places. No matter how I stood the shadow, from the window, just wouldn't leave the picture |
Our youngest son and family drove up, from San Diego on Saturday, and we went over to the golf course for lunch. DH and I ordered iced tea to drink and this is how it came out. The pot on the far left had HOT water, the pot in the middle was full of ice as well as the tall slender glass. The tea bag was completely separate. You put you tea bag in the HOT pot, with the little stem poking out of the top of the pot, and got it to the strength you wanted, then poured it in the middle pot full of ice, then into you glass. The tea was really very good.

Happy T-Day!
That's an interesting way to serve tea!
Happy T day :)
Loved the collage of tea related pieces you shared. Thought the coffee sign was too, too funny, even though I don't drink wine. Laughed at the nude behind the tea set, at least it looked like a nude on this small laptop monitor.
Had fun joining you in Temecula for T this week. Loved seeing this town again through your eyes.
Happy T Day!

Congrats on the rain!
Such pretty dishes and funny sayings to enjoy. The clock teapot is so neat, would love one like that.
Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
exciting to read about some of your adventures too!
I have a wee collection of those Tea Forte bags and Love the little leaf with it's wire stem too.
Fancy and fresh presentation on your iced tea...I always appreciate thoughtful details like that.
Enjoy * Enjoy and Happy T Day
