Hello NBUS #10

Never-Before-Used-Schtuff (Stamps, Dies, EFs, etc.)

Darnell has been running her famous NBUS challenges for three weeks now.  This is the last one and what a twist she through in this week........bubble wrap.....HA! She can be a shifty character when Hammy is out and about.......but I digress (somewhat)

For this NBUS challenge I chose a NBUS bicycle die that my friend Patty (one of my Paint Pals) gave to me a couple weeks ago.  I cut it out in a mirrored fuchsia card stock and used a black alcohol marker to paint the tires and seat.  The background is markers smeared on an acrylic block, spritzed with water, then smashed onto the die cut frame. ( I love this technique for backgrounds).  I inked up some small bubble wrap and gave the bike a path to ride on.  I thought the basket needed some flowers, so I found some NBUS tiny flower and leaf stamps .......I was wondering what I was going to use such a small flower stamp for......... *grin* All are mounted on a black card base, as you can plainly see, with the corners chomped! The hello was also die cut from the same mirrored cs.

I like this card so much I am going to make a few more.......maybe some thank you cards....what do you think??

Thank you Darnell for running these fabulous challenges and for rounding up such great prizes.
OH YES, THERE ARE PRIZES!  WHAT? I DIDN'T MENTION THAT BEFORE??? BETTER HURRY THIS FINAL CHALLENGE ENDS SUNDAY!!

Beautiful card. Loving the bike and wee flowers in the basket!

The bubble wrap looks like a cobblestone roadway. Very cool.
Ooh, I love the shiny fuchsia bike frame and spokes. Lovely background also.

Love the background and how you made your bike so shiny by cutting it from mirri card! That alone takes it to another level, but your bubble wrap road is over the top fabulous! What an awesome card! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #10, joining in the optional theme, and being such a great friend and supporter! Hugs, Darnell
