T Stands for ........

Right now I have quite a bit on my "plate" and almost didn't attend the "Tea Party" this week, but as I came in to finish this painting I set my coffee down and grabbed my camera......... So instead of getting this finished and getting some sympathy cards made I am sitting here chatting on my laptop, just long enough to drink that cup of coffee......LOL

The painting is called "Winter Birch Trees" and I watched a video, by the Art Sherpa, on You Tube.  You can see the video HERE.  I still have the "eyes", as Cinnamon called them, to add and then some splattering for falling snow.  I enjoy her videos, and there are a few other I'd like to "try".

I also received some Happy Mail from our Jinxxxygirl....Deb.  A really sweet Valentine's post card, but haven't had a chance to get it scanned, so that will be up coming.  Thanks Deb!!

Sympathy cards! Ugh! Why do I wait until I NEED them?  Every tine this happens I tell myself to get some made up and have them on hand..........well, that doesn't happen!!  The cards are needed for our DIL's family.  Her Grandmother passed away Sunday morning.  She was 85 years old, and had lost her husband two years ago and never got over it.  I think she died of a broken heart......no matter what the doctors say.  Her 6 year old great granddaughter had this to say "Well, I think Papa Ray finally went to God and told Him he wanted his wife back." Madelynn is wise beyond her 6 years!!

My cup is empty, so I better get this day rolling forward.......getting dressed should probably come first.......nah, my robe already has paint on it......LOL

I'll be around to visit everybody, but it might take me a while to do it.

Inky Hugs
Krisha

I love that winter scene.

I'm sorry for your loss. It is sad when we lose someone close, even when they seem ready to go :(

I know what you mean about the sympathy cards-I have lots of b'day and thank you's and even thinking of you cards...sorry for the family's loss but what an endearing thing Madelyn had to say.
Fabulous painting!! I have watched some of her vids and do want to try a few too in smaller format though. Still can't bring myself to going that large:) Enjoy your day!
Your painting sure looks great. I thought it might have been from another painting party that you attended. I'll have to check out her videos when I get a chance.

So sorry for your family's loss. Children often say the most amazing things.

Wonderful painting, and glad you had time for coffee break! Hugs, Valerie
That's a wonderful painting, Krisha. Simply adorable and has great composition.

Your heart mug is perfect for this month, and always of course, since I love hearts, too.

My grandmother died before my grandfather, and although he had been a bachelor until he was 33, and was perfectly capable of taking care of himself, he only lasted nine months after Grams died. My grandfather, who never prayed a day in his life that I know of, started attending church. When I asked he said he wanted to be sure he could spend eternity with my grandmother in heaven. Sort of fits with what the great-granddaughter said, I think.

Thanks for sharing your art (that canvas is amazing) and your mug of coffee with us for T this Tuesday. Tell your DIL and family our hearts go out to her (and them) in her time of sorrow.

What a lovely painting! Kudos!
Yes, I understand the whole sympathy card scenario. I have not got a single one ready and I really should make some in case I do need one.
Happy T-day,
Lisca

Love the painting! It's tough to need a sympathy card. I know, though, that your heart goes into your art. And even better --- heaven is a place of constant reunions!

I'm late getting to all my T friends. I Really like the painting. I'll have to watch the video. Hope you found some inspiration for the sympathy card - those are hard to make. Sorry for the family's loss.

Hi Krisha!! Well that turned out terrrific!! I saw this ArtSherpa video. As you know from my VanGogh painting i'm a fan of hers too. I'm not so crazy about this new craze of doing Live videos . They are much too long and drawn out for me..and her videos were already long.. Oh well can't have it all and everybody seems to be doing it now..Thank you so much for the shout out.. And thank you for your lovely gift in the mail! It will most definitely be in the craftroom! ;)... someday...lol Hugs! deb
