Last one to the Party?
Well here it is Tuesday, again, and time to get over to the party Elizabeth throw for the T-gang every week. I've checked her blog and know that I'm running late, I almost sent my regrets for this week and didn't post. I had so many errands to run yesterday, and by the time I got home I was pooped!
So what has kept me hopping this past week? Dentist check-up on that root canal, visit with the architect ...ready to move to the next step on blueprints for the new house, our 43rd anniversary...which we waited till Friday to celebrate...nothing big...just dinner...our GD, Megan went with us and then came back for a sleepover. Saturday her and I went to the Pumpkin Patch, that some friends of ours own. Plenty of photo ops and things for the kids to do.

The entrance to the hay bale maze.........
Bean bag toss......
One of many photo ops.......
Pumpkins for her and Hannah........
Sunday was a decorating meeting for Madeline's (Maddie) birthday party. Her parents came over to discuss what "we" were going to do and for a list of materials needed. Sounds like a lot of fuss for a 7th birthday party.......but there is a reason. The party is going to be a premier, of sorts, for a woman that wants to start an "event" place.....and they want a lot of photos for a brochure. It's a friends helping friends type of thing......since none of us are wealthy we are figuring out how to do it on a budget....LOL! Tammy, the owner has a fantastic backyard all set up for entertaining and events. They just bought this house last spring, the previous owner really did a lot of custom work in the house, and in the yard. There is a castle for the kids to play in, a pool, a stage, cement tables and a lot of grass area.
So what do "I" have to do with it??? I am the one with the Cricut and a sewing machine and no job....LOL!! I am working on fabric banners to hang on the castle......more about that horror story later...grin* Then there is a lot of crowns to be cut and shield to be made........and on goes the list.
Then there are the other half dozen projects, that are half finished.......and some new stash that needs put away.
Now it is time for me to take my last cup of coffee and head over and join the T-gang....hope they don't mind that I'm still in my jammies and robe......

happy t-day!
Belated happy anniversary! Yes, it's what we do. We go out for dinner somewhere nice and just make a nice day of it, without other people.
I enjoyed your post very much. The photos of said GD and the pumpkin patch are great. We don't have pumpkin patches in Europe so seeing what you Americans do with a pumpkin patch is fun.
Yes, I can sort of envisage all the work involved and your share of it.... I know, it is the price you pay for not working. People think you have nothing to do. I'm sure you'll love it once you get going!
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
I see lots of work ahead for you but I know you will blast through it and I expect to see lots of birthday party pictures.
What a fun day out with Megan. She looks like she had as much fun as you had taking photos. BTW, I'm also wearing shorts and sleeveless top today, so Megan and I are on the same wavelength.
Lots of fun ahead for a seven year old. Sounds like your contribution is going to be more than most. I can't wait to see the results of the party, and of the day.
Not to worry. You can show up in jammies or NOTHING, if you choose. We're a really understanding group.
Thanks for sharing your anniversary with us and your famous coffee cup for T this Tuesday. Look forward to seeing more as the birthday event materializes, too.
Happy T-Day!
