T Stands for We Finally got Moved!
HELLLLOOOOO Friends! Gosh, it has been ages since I've had a chance to join the T-Gang, or even get a post written. What a crazy....insane ( and not to mention scorching hot) summer it has been.
So what's in the cupppas this morning? Green chocolate shake, since the glass is dark gray I took the photo before I screwed the lid on. It is a chocolate, plant based, protein with a scoop of powdered greens and two large pinches of fresh spinach mixed with coconut milk and blended with ice. This has been my "go to" breakfast this summer......trying to get a little healthier. This particular shake is an Arbonne shake. My son and DIL work out at a gym and got started in this and are selling it. So to help support them I ordered some.....very pricey!! It starts with a 30 day rest, that is two shakes, two small snacks and a light meal per day.............no coffee! LOL!!! I really did not drink coffee for 21 days.............I couldn't do the full 30 days and handle the stress of packing up 41 years and getting moved ( well, that's my story ;)) Long story short, I lost 10 pounds and then a few more by at least having the shake in the morning. Plus I have learned to really read labels and I try to eat organic, cage free and grass fed meat at home. I have scouted the local health food stores and have found alternative plant based protein shakes to replace the pricey stuff! So what is in the cup?? LOL!!! COFFEE! I still don't drink near the coffee I used to. I have become a tea drinker 50% of the time.......GASP!!
I'm now on my first, of four, bottles of water for the day.......the more I drink the more I want and water is so good for the body. The four GDs are already here and busy keeping busy. Yep! I took the four of them and MOVED........but they were all great hep to me, even if it was just taking things to the trash can.....LOL! But more about all that later, time to post and link up with Elizabeth to visit with the rest of the T-Gang.
Thanks for stopping by

Happy T Day Kathy
Like the look of your drink choices and always good to try to give up something--well for other people :)
Love Chrissie xx
I was interested to read about the drinks and good for you managing to loose weight as well as moving.
Happy T day.

Happy T-Day!

Congratulations on the move, but also on losing weight. That is quite a feat. Well done you! (even though it was expensive).
I must admit I don't like the sound of Green drinks. Just as well it is hidden in a black cup. I have been a nurse too long and am bound to have involuntary associations. lol.
I hope you will write about the time you were absent and perhaps have a few piccies of your new abode.
Have a good week,
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Happy T Tuesday :) Welcome back!
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
