WOYWW 289

tin of mints, wooden drawers with punches in them, ott light, small black bin with post it, paint water, spray bottle owl full of pens and pencils, ott light small container o sharp things, and revolving storage.  In the middle are some Christmas stamps, note book, pens and my glasses......and a string of 12 gift tags I'm working on.
Hello WOYWWers!  It has been a while since Betsy and I have joined the desker's fun around Blogland.  Betsy sits rather quiet now, we have all our shopping finished, wrapped and under the tree.  All the decorations are up and waiting for the jolly little elf to show up Christmas eve.  I did a rather foolish thing, for this time of year, I decided to move the stuff on Betsy around............and it became a full fledge re-do.  There was just too much on the desk top, to much pile high along side of me, too much that needed it's own space and just TOO MUCH!!!!  I was getting to the point I didn't want to sit at Betsy and create, I was just grabbing a journal and some pens and going to the sofa. :(
So I worked on this space for three days, if I hadn't touched it or used it in the past 5-10 years the chances I would were gone, and I need the space NOW......LOL
Stepping back you can see my little alcove, with a nice low counter top down the left side, and on the right is a stand for my lap top and all the markers and ink pads overhead.

The low countertop runs almost the width of the room.  I found these metal, 3 tier shelving units at Target for $19.00 each.  I already had one, so the addition of 2 made everything fit!  The shelf up above holds my boxes of little things, finished journals, wooden cigar boxes and a pile of cs in colors that I have had for over 10 years (these will be finding a new home)  The two Iris carts hold mostly wood mounted stamps and specialty paper and the tops hold my 12 x 12 scraps and the other bin holds my stencils

The view to the right, not much to rally describe, still some work to be done in that direction......LOL
Linking up with Julia as she just went live.......... and next Wednesday is Christmas Eve and that time is for our family so.....................

Merry Christmas Everybody!!

What a delightful room, Krisha, and great you've got it all sorted and put away, which makes life so much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you so much for your beautiful card - what a lovely surprise! I'm afraid I haven't made any for bloggy folks, but look out in the post in January. Hugs for now, and have a wonderful, peaceful Christmas. Chris # 8

Wow Krisha, no wonder you've been moved to rearrange and give Betsy the trim of her life!! You're all ready for the big day! Super double impressed now! Have enjoyed the tour..am still smiling at the 'owl full of pens'..
Ah one of those quick rearrange ideas that ends up being a major sort out, we know that feeling, it does feel good once done though, merry Christmas to you from Horace @ no. 32

What a great space you have there. Everything at hand! Very well thought out. I bet you fell better now you've had a major sort-out and can start the new year with an organized craft space and new inspiration.
Have a good week,

HA! I do that too, all the time. I start off having a little tidy and before I know it everything is off the shelves and out of the drawers and on the floor and it's all change. Takes me weeks to remember where stuff is :) But it can be so satisfying. Love your wall colour too!

Happy happy WOYWW!

That was a huge undertaking and you did a beautiful job. I'm very inspired because I'm getting ready to kind of do the same thing! So tired of my craft table being piled too high. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #41
Great job getting organized. I really want to do that..but just haven't spared the time yet. Maybe after the holidays get all settled. Happy WOYWW. #25

Betsy looks very organised and tidy, Krisha, and well done getting everything finished. Yet again, Christmas is a bit of a non-event here. Last year we were dealing with Dad's death and this year another crisis with Mum's health although she seems to have made an almost 100% recovery from the latest series of TIAs. I'm just too wiped out to bother much about Christmas and look forward to a quiet life - I wonder if it will ever happen lol!!

Happy WOYWW,

Thanks for visiting my blog, Krisha. I, too would have had a glass of wine for sustenance, but it wasn't 5 o'clock anywhere yet. {hee, hee!) Your craft space is very nice --bright, cheery and well organized. Good for you for having everything ready for your celebrations. I'm nearly ready for Saturday's get together now. Very little left to do. Merry Christmas to you too!

Hi Krisha,

You are so lucky to have everything done for Christmas! I'm hoping to work at it this weekend and be done. At least that is the goal!

Your desk area looks nice and compact. That would definitely work for me. Just swivel your chair around and there's another area! Congrats on working at it and getting it the way you want!

Happy WOYWW

Good job, Krisha! I Bet you feel so much better now it's sorted and organised :-). I do the same with my fabrics...I love sorting and clearing!
Wishing you a Happy Christmas, thank you for supporting my blog throughout the tear,
Hugs, LLJ 20 xx
You did a HUGE amount of work. You are truly getting organized. I love it when everything is in its place. It's keeping it there that is important. I just wish I had as much room as you. That L shaped area works great, I bet.

As for the area that still needs work, I spy something familiar (grin).

Thank you for your return visit, Krisha, and for your very understanding comments. Yes, looking after elderly parents can be very difficult and stressful. I need a good rest!! Thank you especially for your prayers - these are very much appreciated. Lol at your comment re the soap!!
