A Little Baby Bug

 

Cheerful Stamp Pad has a new challenge starting today, it is "It's Natural" and will run for two weeks.
So put on your thinking caps and give your mojo a swift kick and join up!!
Here is my DT sample for week one.
I chose the "Baby Bug" digi from the Stitchy Bear Outlet (Our sponsor this challenge)for this sparkling card. Image was colored with Prisma colored pencils then rhinestones added to the spots on the wings and black stones for the tip of her antani. I chose to mask the image and stencil a floral background instead of trimming her out. I took Gelatos to the front of the card and then stamped tiny flowers all over. I mounted the image on black cs then onto the card. Paper grunge flowers, brushed with black acrylic paint finished it off nicely. 
I really like this image, but digis are a challenge, either a white background or trim them out.  So I have been challenging myself to deal with the negative spaces, are you up to the challenge????
