T Stands for Monday Ramblings and Sharing

Elizabeth has her T-Day post up and I am getting ready to join the party......you should come along too.  A post of drinks, or food, or both will get you in the door.  I'm using my Pinterest coffee cup for this post, just because I'm too darn tired, from cleaning house and running errands, to take a photo of my Bulletproof coffee, then do all the rest, just to show you a cup that looks like it has a latte in it.

Bulletproof coffee is part of the Keto diet, I'll give the recipe ....and it sound absolutely horrible, but tastes amazing.  I've been finding it my "go-to" in the afternoons. One cup/mug of very hot coffee, one scoop of MCT powder  and one tablespoon of all natural, grass fed, unsalted butter.  Then I throw it all in my Ninja and blend it really well.  It is very creamy with a hint of coconut.  It is supposed to provide increased focus, effortless energy( not really sure about the effortless part LOL) and suppress your appetite. A friend recommended it, and says it really helps her energy level and gets rid of the belly bloat.  I've become such a slug that I'm game to try most anything.  This is day 3 and I woke up with more energy than I have had in awhile, so we will see going forward.
I know there is a lot of bad talk about this Keto diet and it took me some deep digging before I would try any part of it.  My friend has followed Dr. Colbert's detox (all vegan) a couple of times, and it has really helped her immune system disorders.  He has started recommending the Keto more and more, and what he had to say interested me, so I'm giving it a shot.

How About Some Art?

My last post was a journal page made with alcohol inks, and I loved the way it turned out.
I had forgotten how much fun it is to get all inky!  Being me (and you know that can lead to something else) I taped down some 140 lb. watercolor paper and covered it with a light coat of gesso, then let it dry..........Let the FUN begin!!!!!!!
I was so excited at what happened when I started moving the colors around with my heat gun, I would have done the Happy Dance.........but the heat gun was plugged into the wall.....not a very long cord.
I was SO pleased with them, I went and bought some frames for them.  I want to show them at The Shafter Colours Festival next month, along with my paintings. These all framed 16"x 20" frames, art is 11'x 14".

The actual pictures look so much better than this in real life.  I was having a hard time getting ANY photos that morning that didn't have so many reflections on the glass, that is why they all look like they are hanging crooked.

Sharing the Art Baton

This is our 8 year old granddaughter that lives in the San Diego area.  I'm so proud of her, I can hardly get my shirt off over my head!!!   I want to go and see what she did so bad, but we have another commitment Friday night, and not enough time to get there Saturday by 2:00!  My heart is just breaking, but her Mom will send me some photos I hope I can share.

Well, that's about it for me this T-day, now it's time to link up with Elizabeth and see what the T-gang
is doing.

Thanks for all the comments last week.......don't we all just love a good comment????

I love your art. I can see why you framed them. Those pieces are not only interesting but the colors are amazing. But I am not so sure about that coffee. Not that I drink even regular coffee. I hope it keeps your energy up! And that is such an honor for your granddaughter. She must have inherited some talent from her grandmother. Have a wonderful T day krisha. Hugs-Erika

I love all of your art pieces, and congratulations to your grand daughter-very neat! I did allot of reading on the keto diet and decided with our age and health issues was not a good fit for us-and I just never liked the idea of eliminating whole food groups-everything in moderation, real food not anything processed, and exercise. but sometimes easier said than done.
Happy T Hugs Kathy

Your new art pieces are fabulous, wow! Love these explosions of colours. Congrats to your clever granddaughter, too! I do not like the idea of keto diets, as I don't like fat, and I like a balanced diet, but I don't need to diet anyway, so that's good. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

The art work framed looks beautiful, the colours on each piece look amazing how they have blended together.
You must be rightly proud of your grand daughter, I'm sure her mom will be taking many photos for you.
I've heard about the diet you mentioned , but I don't think it would be one I would like to try, I'll stick to healthy eating and of course it would be plenty tea to drink for me.
Happy T day wishes Krisha

Beautiful artwork!!
Congrats to your GD and I hope we get to see pictures.
My DIL, Leah, started the KETO diet a couple weeks ago but I haven't heard how she likes it yet. I'll have to at least email her and find out.
I'm not interested in the keto diet, but I know a few people who are on it. I support whatever eating plan works for your purpose :) I've found that exercise improves my metabolism -weights and yoga, in particular.

I know nothing about gesso, heat guns, etc., but I'd dance, too, if I ended up with art that looked like that. Beautiful, and the black frames with the white mats show it off well. If the Shafter Colours Festival lets you sell your work on-site I bet you don't take any of them back home.

Congratulations to your granddaughter. She must be so excited!

Happy T Tuesday!

I'm following the Keto diet as Himself was recommended to go on it. Neither of us drink coffee so we don't do that. Keto has been around for 25 years or so. Originally developed to help epileptics. It was also found to have benefits for diabetics. It is not a fad diet. I did find when I first started that my body needed some carbs. I was getting really sick even after going through Keto flu. I found crackers called Nutthins really helped.

Your art is quite beautiful. My favorite is the Purple Gladiolus. Congrats to your granddaughter for being selected for the art show. Happy T Day
Wow, what amazing artwork! Getting inky sure is fun and you have created such stunning pieces, I love your titles too - perfect 😁. Sounds like your granddaughter is following in your creative footsteps, you must be super proud of her! Wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😊 x

I have now learnt that one cannot do comments on an ipad, so I apologise for all those occasions that I appear not to have commented (I always do, eventually) and from now on I will use my desk top computer even if it means being a day late as we are always away on Tuesdays.

Thank you for joining T yesterday. I'm so pleased you showed up, even though I was unavailable. Please check my Wednesday post I still haven't written to see where I have been. Thanks, too, for your visits and kind comments while I was away. I'll be back soon to visit and see what I have missed. For now, just be aware, I am so grateful for your visit and continued support of T Tuesday, dear Krisha.
