NBUS #7
I sat down to play with it, going back and forth on how I wanted to use it. Love this little die, even if inlaying it consists of all those tiny pieces. The BIG plus is that it also makes a fantastic stencil!
I wanted to use the primary colors, since that is also the challenge over at the Inkspitational Blog. I used the die cut as a stencil for the red, yellow and blue hearts..........then die cut into the card at the bottom. Using some mirrored gold and double sided tape on the back ( this holds all those little pieces in place as I move it), I die cut the heart again. Now comes the tricky part: Using tweezers I pulled each piece of the gold and inlayed them into the card front.......which also had some tape on the back to hold those little pieces.
After finally breathing again, I softened the card edges with some blue ink and stamped the sentiment. The inside of the front was also lined with some white paper to cover all the tape I used.
Thanks for stopping by for a look at my card, if you have any NBUS around ( I know you do, or should I say who doesn't?) there is still a few days in which to join in the fun with and don't forget to check out all the DT work over at Inkspitational Blog.......their challenge runs for two weeks....lots of time to play along.
Happy crafting

After my massive clean up (OK, it's ongoing), I have found lots of NBUS.
