WOYWW 197-Betsys Going Mobile

Yep! I'm taking Betsy on the road!! Well, actually we're heading to San Diego for a 4 week stay, and I HAVE to have my STUFF with me...LOL   We are leaving Friday night or early Saturday morning, depending on how DH feels. I might take off early if my son calls and says they are the way to the hospital to have a baby! Yeah!  So I'm in the packing stage.  Real cool suit case on the right is my art journals and tangle stuff, to the right is a crop roll-a-bout I use for craft traveling,
Here is a closer view of what REALLY is ON Betsy.  A container I have been dropping stuff into as I think of it to take, in the middle is my brand new Lenovo laptop (yes I have been a very good girl) to the right is a stack of background stamps from Rouge Redhead Designs that will probably make the trip too.
A closer view of this papermache suit case I just had to have for my journal stuff and a couple good books to read. Of course my hand lotions.......

Closer view of the roll-a-bout, where the paper trimmer, old embossing gun, Big Shot, embossing folders, stencils, paper, ink pads, scissors and all that go.  I have the Iris cart with all my pattern paper in it, and that will just go like it is.  My turning desk top storage will go and so will a box or two of my stamps........there to the right in the polka dot boxes.
Yep it is a lot to take but the "Playhouse"( our new trailer) has an 8'x10' garage so I can take all I want (to a point) and since I am going to be the primary resident for 4 weeks I get to use up all the room. One of the beds in the garage folds up into a dinnnet with a long table....oooooo can't wait to get out of the closet for awhile.
So why am I going on about this ,besides having a new baby in the family SHORTLY? Because it is time for Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday!! Our Queen Julia Dunnit hosts this every Wednesday, a good time to be had by all that participate..... Hope over and get the stats on it here:

So What's On Your Workdesk today....
Off to check it out and have a good snoop around the world before I have to finish packing.

Inky Hugs

Busy, busy Krisha! Hope all goes well with the trip to SD and the birth of your new grandchild. I LOVE the idea of using the garage part of your new trailer for scrapping!! I've seen people put bikes or toys in there, also dogs, with their travel cages etc, but never seen anyone scrapping in it before!! You should take a photo and send it to the manufacturer, that would be brilliant!!

You go girl and when you finish, do you wanna help me out??? It would not matter as I would just make a huge mess all over again! I should take a before picture (after a tidy) and then what happens with just one project! Enjoy the day and it will be beautiful!

Ooh how exciting, a trip to see a new baby. Hope all goes well and the little one and Mum have an easy time, and if baby takes his/her time in making an appearance you will be able to craft like crazy with all that stuff. Love the Paris suitcase, very cool.
Thanks for visiting earlier, much appreciated.

A month in San Diego - sounds heaven. And that is not without the added bonus of grandchildren - a new one I presume is the reason for the trip.
Have a wonderful time, can't see you having much time for crafting to be honest but I sincerely hope you do.
Relax and Enjoy!
Hugs, Neet xx

Enjoy your time away and new grandbaby. LisaDV #118
Fancy going on that long trip with the thought of a beautiful new grandchild to meet at the end. When we go away, my crafting stuff is very limited as there is not that much storage space in the caravan, especially with all the stuff we have to pack for two dogs. Thank you for your visit this week and have a wonderful trip. xx Maggie #9
