T Stands A Tuesday post on Monday

HEELLLOOOOOO! To all my T-day friends, WOOOOOOSH! it's been two months since I've had a chance to sit down and actually write a post.  Betsy (my desk) even asked to see some sort of identification.........

Tonight, as it is about 7:30 PM, here, I am drinking water.....smart water.............no it does NOT seem to help!!!!  It has gotten back up into the triple digits again and that calls for water around the clock.  I don't even leave the house without a bottle of water with me.  Now that plays havoc with a wee thing called the bladder.........LOL!  I know where ALL the clean restrooms are with in a 50 mile radius!!!!

No GDs here this week, as they are over to the beach where it is a balmy 63' (F) 17' (C)at the moment.  I can't wait to join them Wednesday....the forecast says 73' (F) 23' (C) for the rest of the week.  Right now it has cooled down from 106" (F) to 100' (F) 38' (C)!!!

It has been a very busy summer......since I last sat down to join Elizabeth and the T-gang.  I have Hannah and Megan Monday through Thursday every week.  I have never painted so many picture in such a short time.  It all started with the paintings, I have stacked on the fireplace, that I have done at the paint party events.  They decided they wanted to try some of them, then Hannah discovered Pinterest and has pinned close to 100 she wants to paint!!!!  YIKES! I've created a monster!  She is satisfied to paint small ones in her art journal.....thank goodness.  Since I can't afford 2-4 canvases   (2 GDs) every day, they have settled for 9x12 watercolor paper taped to a canvas.  Which is great, then they paint both sides, and I am putting them into books for them to take home.  Yes, I'll share photos in later posts, which should take until almost Christmas!!

The 40th birthday card, to the right of my PC is for our oldest son, his birthday is August 4th. GOSH, 40 years old!!   I thought  I had better get it made while I have some peace and quiet............I KNOW.......in about 3 weeks I am going to be complaining about how quiet it is around here, and how there is anything to do...........LOL!

Last Friday night I painted this Koi

Here is my friend Carol and I hard at work on a different painting Saturday night.

So that wraps up this post I hope you join me in visiting the rest of the T-Gang this week.

Here are some smiles....................

Pssst! I'm already old and they are already saying this about me.........even sort of looks like me!

the purple Lady seems to me like Edith sitwell, the english eccentric Genius... i love her style very much, she just didn´t care about Mainstream.
have an extraordinary week and happy t-day!

Great to hear from you again Krisha!! That's a great bday card-nice design. Your koi looks wonderful as do you -despite the heat. So nice to hear you and gds are still painting and crafting away! Looking forward to seeing a bit of it . Happy T day!

You are back. Yay! I've missed you.

It sounds like there has been a whole lot of paint being applied here and there. I am anxious to see what you have created in the class.

Hope you enjoy the beach later in the week and that the temps at home go down a bit.

Hello Krisha,
I enjoyed reading your post and had a big smile on my face as U looked at the fun quotes at the end. I loved the lady in purple, it reminded me of a poem I liked. When I am old I shall wear purple by Jenny Joseph.
Have a happy T Day

Anytime is a nice time to see you Krisha!
Time does have a way of flying by doesn't it.
Sounds like you're having fun and that's a good thing.
The heat is something else!
Yesterday the heat index reached 112 here in the Wash DC area.
What would we do without A/C!
Happy T Day oxo

Camp Grandma! You must be a very busy grandma! Keeping those two amused every day is quite a task. The journal painting is a good idea and they will have something nice to take home at the end of 'camp'.
Your painting of the koi is very good. Brush and blush makes me think of 'blush' as in rosé wine. But I spied water not wine. (I paint much better with a glass of wine, you know...) Only joking. I know you all have to drive home again of course.
BTW you are looking good lady! Yep, my son will be 40 too this August. He lives in Italy and I have booked a flight to be with him and his family on his birthday. I hope your son lives a bit nearer.
I smiled at your funnies. Especially the melting cat. The lady i n purple is everybody's dream, I would love to be like that, but when it boils down to it, I always behave myself boringly.
I can identify with the Tupperware drawer. Most of my Tupperware is sooo old. I have some that I have inherited from my mother, 55 years old! They are the pastel colored round dishes. They have 'made in Florida' on them as it was in the days before they started manufacturing them in Europe. I better keep them as they will be a valuable antique one day, lol.
Thank you for visiting,
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
I was thrilled that you had a chance to visit, because I was beginning to worry about you. Looks like life has been busy and HOT. It's hot here, too. I'm even MORE worried because you are in a fire area right now.

Smart water? Never heard of it, but it has a catchy name at least. But I liked the photo of you with your latest painting. Speaking of which, the corn funny was hilarious. I could fry an egg in my driveway, if that counts, but I'm not sure I could make popcorn.

THanks for sharing this update and wonderful art and smart water with us for T this Tuesday. I'm thrilled to see you posting again, even if it's just to check in while the g'girls are gone. and here's to your son having a great birthday, too.

No wonder you haven't posted! Keeping those to creative grandgirls busy every day--whew! Sounds like it is working, though. And it sounds like you are having fun, too. Happy birthday to the 40 year old, too! ;)
The first thing I noticed was the 40th card - still another 3 years before I have a 40 year old and I still have another year and half with a 6 at the front of my age!! Good to hear that the girls are enjoying their art! Looks as though you will be busy now that Pinterest is on the scene!! I love the photo of you with your painting! The lady in purple isn't me …but could well be!!! Your funnies did make me laugh!! Hugs, Chrisx

Loved reading this, Trisha! Hot here in NC, too --- our usual summer in the South. The critters all know how to handle it. The donkey boys spend the day in their barn and the night in their pasture. The chickens are still laying eggs, so there's no heat stress there, either. Our dog, who is an outdoor farm dog, spent part of the evening in the laundry room --- too hot outside even in his favorite dirt pile in the shade. He's well, too. Now as for the humans here, we continue to do our outdoor chores but fairly early in the day. My husband spsent four hours on the tractor yesterday, bush-hogging the back that had been quite overgrown. Always something to do. Y'all stay cool there. Fall WILL come eventually!

Great to see you post again. I have to confess I thought the 40 card was a shop bought one! So professional. Sounds like you have your hands full. Sending you some cooler weather, Cara x
