Blogger?????ERRRRR!!!! PHOOEY!!!!

Copied this from my friend Neet's blog - why can they not leave us alone?  Streamline Phooey!!! An update on Google Friend Connect Posted:  21 Dec 2015 03:02 AM PST In 2011, we announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs. As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count. We encourage you to tell

The last Tuesday, of this year, to meet up with the T-Gang and Elizabeth , and of course I am running late!! So this is going to be a quick post..........that's my intention anyway....*grin*  I'm starting with a picture of the beautiful turkey my DH cooked for Christmas dinner.  He cooked it outside in one of the ceramic cookers.......I wish you could smell it.....OMGoodness is was delicious!!     Our dinner table, with labels, since I write about these families quite often.  I had the pleasure of having 4 generations of our DIL's family here for dinner........we have known these people for over 35 years......yep, Brian and Vanesss grew up together.     The "little" sister's table   Most of you, that come for T-Day know these two     Before Christmas, I received a package from Lisca, the Scrapping Cavewoman.   She had made me this fantastic book about her and her life in Spain, with pictures and all hand written.  I h

I was busy this evening (Monday) getting out some of my Christmas china and decided to stop and have a sweet coffee and an energy bite. Then I remembered it's time to link up with Elizabeth and the T-Gang for one last get together before Christmas. My sweet coffee has sugar free chocolate and caramel syrup and a lot of unsweetened heavy whipping cream .........tastes like a virgin Bailey's Irish Cream and coffee.  I have since drank that, and a second one .....with the Irish cream.......needed more punch!!!  LOL!  For the past month I've been trying to stay away from white flour and white sugar ( Bailey's doesn't count at Christmas time...LOL), and I came across this recipe for these energy bites on Pinterest.........I LOVE THEM!!  check out her blog HERE   It feels good to have both feet among the living again, although I still have a cough, but ever so much better now.  I went to the Dr. twice and he finally told me I now have asthma, and has me o

Holiday greetings blog friends!  Almost the middle of December already and I hope all your holiday preparations are falling into place. Now, onto what you've come around for......the weekly drink to be shared with the T-gang. Last Tuesday evening was the Bakersfield Bucklist  Bunnies first fundraiser.  The event was held at a Restaurant and wine bar.  The dinner was a 5 course meal with a wine paring with each course. There was also a silent auction of some gorgeous gift baskets, and even a side chair. Also a nice fashion show put on by one of our sponsors. My really good friend Cathy went with me The food was very rich.....but tasty....this is what was left of my fillet. We also had shrimp, lobster bisque (it was more like a stew....) and there was one more entrée and a dessert, but I can't remember what they were.  I don't think I finished one course..........and still left FULL!! Neither Cathy, or I, were impressed with the wines......so I drank  a lot of

With a woooooosh and a plop!  We have landed on Tuesday again.  I hope I find everybody well, and ready for the Ho, Ho, Ho of the holidays as I jump from blog to blog, this morning, seeing what the multitudes of the T-gang  are offering up for a tasty drink.......You know not of this? Click on the blue tea pot on my side bar or HERE .   Last week I was feeling like something that had been drug down a road full of rocks.  I did go to the Medicine Man on Thursday, and he gave me some VooDOOO  pills and some super strong cough medicine  ( LOL). Said my lungs were a weeeezzzzzzing and gave me a breathing treatment too........almost like smoking a peace pipe!!! By the weekend I was feeling better, so the GDs came to help me decorate the tree and house.....and for a sleepover. They went right to work on the tree.  They wanted the story about each ornament.  Where I got it, or who gave it to me and how long I've had it.  Hannah got the honor of the tree topper, as Megan got to d

Time for a Second Look

Gosh! here it is December 2nd already and time to link up with The Altered Book Lover.....Elizabeth for a second look at what ever you want to share.   I was asked (yesterday) if I'd have the GDs for holiday crafts.  With them all in school these days it is hard to tell, maybe a little closer to Christmas......when they are on Christmas break........oh, I'm supposed to call it "winter break"....well, not HERE......I still say Christmas!!   So, looking back, I found this T-Day post of Hannah and Megan and their craftiness.....   Megan was 3 and Hannah was 7.......now tell me, WHERE DID THE TIME GO???   Monday, December 30, 2013 LasT T sTands for Tuesday for 2013 The last time to link up with Elizabeth and Bluebeard for this year for a good cup of Tea, coffee, juice, adult beverages and for us a cold soda.  I got to have both GD's today (Monday here), Dad came by and took them to lunch (as grandma stepped on the s

T-day on December 1st

Here is this mornings cup of coffee, processed through Photo Shop to change the saying.....and just in time to link up with the T-gang.   This is going to be a quick post because, as the cups says.......I have to get BUSY around here.  My last post stated that we were headed for the desert for some Thanksgiving fun.  Yes we went, but the day we left I woke up SICK!  Nasty sinus cold, that I managed to share with DH, only he came down with it on the day we came home.  We are both a lot better now, still the nagging cough and my nose refuses to stop running........I'm looking a lot like Rudolph......LOL  BUT we did have a good time with the kids and GDs, but not many pictures were taken this year. We arrived back home Saturday night, I managed to unload the Playhouse Sunday morning, then we just laid around the rest of the day and rested ( and took more medication)  Yesterday, we were both feeling much better, and I started cleaning the Playhouse so we can get it back in stor
