WOYWW 186

Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday???? Created by Ms. Dunnit over on the Stamping Grounds blog, entitles us to go a snooping around the world, peeking at what other people have on their workdesks.  This week the snap of Betsy was taken by my NEW Nikon D7000!!( Santa does love me.) I am not going to itemize, most of you know what everything in this picture is.  My art journal is propped up because I was checking out some of the settings on the camera. To the right is a stack of four packages of Recollections markers, also from Santa.  As you can see I am marker poor......LOL But they were 50% off just before Christmas.  I bought the first set for Hannah (our GD) and told DH I wish I was buying them for me.  He replied go for it and get Hannah a different set.  SO I DID!!! LOL  I picked up art supplies and cases for them for the two oldest GDs and everything was 50%!!

Keeping it short, this is a closeup of my journal pages.  Lot of ink, modeling paste and splashes of water.  I was hoping to add so text to it this morning but I went to bed feeling all stuffy in the head and woke up with a full blown head cold, so blog hopping will be about all I get done today.
I want to thank everybody that dropped by over last last week for all the holiday wishes and blessing.  Betsy was blushing over the wonderful comments you left about her holiday decorations.

Before I close for this Wednesday I want to remind you to check out this phenomenon called WOYWW by going to:

Now I am off to do some snooping over a hot cup of tea.
Happy WOYWW

  17. Ooh wow, Santa was very good to you this year! You must have been a very good girl! ;)

Your journal background looks stunning! I really want to get back into some art journalling.. just don't seem to have had the time lately. Got some fab art journalling books from Santa though to help inspire me. :D

Thanks for your comment on my WOYWW post - DH insists on his study looking nice and pristine and seeing as my craft room is a mess anyway I guess he thinks it can't really get any worse!

  27. Ooh! You were a good girl this year, weren't you? What lovely presents you got! A new camera and new markers! Are these the ones you threw the fit over to get at 50% off? Apparently your fits are better than mine because the manager couldn't be bothered to care either. Ah well, Hobby Lobby set to open in town in February. The journal is looking good and you are a whiz at the new camera already. Hope your holidays were happy and that the cold didn't cause you too much grief. Happy 2013!
