If You Wait Long Enough.......

If you wait long enough, or in my case, just get things half made (grin) the challenges roll around that fit your project....LOL!

I have started making a few Christmas cards......or at least getting some of the components made.
This little gold embossed tree has been sitting on Betsy for almost two weeks!  I finally mounted it on some gold glitter paper, added a few rhinestones and got it onto a card base, with a simple sentiment.
The black background paper is a glossy cardstock, but getting it photoed was a challenge in it's self.

I adore how this card turned out, and hope to make a few more, but the black glossy cardstock is getting harder to find these days.

Here are the challenges that came along to fit my card...LOL!

I am in total awe of how you have got such crisp, detailed embossing onto black glossy CS - no smudges or specks to be seen! Very elegant and stylish. Thanks for joining us at Always Use Rubber

I LOVE this card. I don't think I've ever seen black glossy cs. This is a gem!

You are really in the Christmas spirit! Love it. I will whisper that I put on some Christmas music the other day, so I'm not too far behind you in spirit. Hugs-Erika

If you wait long enough and IF you remember that you have such-and-such half-finished in your UFO box, then it all works out splendidly!! Good for you for remembering and making this work perfectly, Krisha! And good for you for embossing on black glossy paper - not an easy thing to do!! Hugs, Darnell
