T Stands for the Firehouse

Time to share drink and food for this Tuesday's T-day, where peeps from all over the world get together at Altered Book Lover's blog.
THIS WEEK
The Mr. and I went to the Firehouse to meet up with family......well oldest son, DIL and 9 cheerleaders!

The door......like an old firehouse.
Inside was...............oh so nice and cool....106' outside!!
The bar area has big screens playing all kinds of sport.......but we weren't three for that.

They have in-house bowling lanes......there is my DIL Vanessa, and son Brian
There are a couple of the cheerleaders.....Hannah had just thrown her bowling ball.
This is the second half of her Birthday Party........they had all spent the night at her house, and all showed up in knee socks and shorts........oh to be young again!!!

Bowling makes you thirsty..........the younger one's drinks..

The adult drinks.....the Mr. had a cold beer, the rest of us had water and ice tea.
You can tell by this photo, but all the girls laid their cell phones face down on the table and left them there.........I was surprised and very proud that they did this themselves.

We "old" folks were hungry so we had lunch.......shared fish tacos, with a side of fries.....everybody is starting to serve fries with Mexican food.......so strange!  In the bowl is calamari......battered and fried, but pretty good.  At least they didn't over cook it to the tough stage!
Time to link up now, even if it is still Monday here......

Won't you join us??

Hi-what a fun time! and the food looks good-that's pretty neat-a bowling area in a sports bar-like that idea.
Happy T Day Kathy

Sounds like you all had a fun evening out at that place. Great for a family meeting. Yummy looking food, too. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
What a fun way to end Hannah's birthday. Looks like they had a great time, too. I was super impressed that they all wore knee high socks. Was there some significance to that? That looks like the cleanest bowling alley I've ever seen, too.

I've never had a fish taco. For some reason, they don't sound all that appealing. I would enjoy the fries if they weren't saturated in ketchup, though (grin).

Thanks for sharing the last of Hannah's birthday party and all those drinks with us for T this Tuesday. BTW, you probably showed more drinks in this post than most of us show in a year!
You had fun at that cool place - wow! Looks great there!
Happy T-Day

That's an interesting restaurant. I've seen bowling lanes with snack bars but they never look as nice as that place. It looks like fun since I haven't been bowling in a long time.:) Happy T day Krisha. Stay cool.

That sounds a great fun day out for family and friends, especially to celebrate a Birthday.
I liked the sound of the food you ordered as well.
Happy tea day wishes,
Yvonne xx
What a fun place! Sounds like a great place for a party :) Happy T Tuesday
Nine cheerleaders, Krisha? Oh my! Love the outfits - very bold. French fries with Mexican food sound like a sacrilege, but I must admit they look tasty.

Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen

Looks great fun. I always like to see restaurants and cafes in another country. The bowling lanes look super fun, I have rarely been bowling.
How nice that the girls did not spend all evening on their phones.
106 is incredibly hot, here today in August, the summer, it was over 60 in the afternoon, pleasantly warm.

I got a chuckle out of the "knee socks and shorts". Yes, you gotta be young to do that. Looks like quite a fun second half of a birthday party.
