Journal 52 week 18

Journal 52 prompt this week is "creative hands" (if you can't tell by my journal page....grin)
Straight ink on un-gessoed page, although I did sketch my hand in pencil first.  Did you REALLY think I could do my hand with straight ink?  I'm not real crazy about the new calligraphy markers I bought,  or maybe it is the operator (?) or maybe the very lack of practice (?)  Well, it's on the page any ole ways.........so be it!  I did use a ruler for the straight lines, no, really I did!

No I am not left handed, if I was this would be my right hand....................LOL

You put my entry to shame. You did a fantastic job. I read somewhere that you can get a calligraphy effect from the way you hold one of those fat flat permanent markers (not Sharpies). I tried it once with a marker I have, but I'm no good at thin and thick. Yours is excellent, and so is your creative hand!!!

I have to use pencils and rulers, too. Very nice job! Love that it's your left hand. When I drew mine--I took a photo of my hand holding a pen and then drew from the photo--LOL! That's how lame I am. :)
