Grandma's Got a Brand New Bag

Before

Happy Friday!! Well it really isn't a brand new bag, cause I can't seem to find one I really like. (I am very picky when it comes to a new purse) So I was digging about in the hall cupboard and came across an old purse that I really did like, guess that is why I kept it. It had white paint on it here and there, and I had grown tired of it, so into the cupboard t went. I decided to it was rather boring to look at and thought about it. Went back to Betsy and loaded my arms with supplies and came back to the kitchen and began.

after stamps and rhinestones, I used StaysOn ink for this
Love the way it turned out, and proudly carried it to my GD's, Hannah, school open house last night.  But I do remember the main reason I stopped carrying it.  I holds quite a bit of unnecessary stuff, and if I have room I'll fill it up.  So the challenge is NOT to carry anything that is NOT necessary!  Can I do it?? Well that is still to be seen! LOL

The other side.
So I'm off to get ready to do a little retail therapy with my DIL.  We have a Memorial day trip all planned, only a week away.  We're going to trailer-up and head for a RV park, that has a great swimming pool, near Bishop, where Mule Days will take place.  Plans are for a lot of fishing creek side, attending the festivities and of course more food than we can possibly eat!! (Hmm bettr go up a size if I find a new swim suit)
BUT new swim suits seam to be a requirement this year......or so says my DIL.....oh I do agree, until I go to trying them on..... LOL

Hope your weekend is super crafty!!
