Acrylic painting

sitting on a rather dirty patio chair
Just a quick post before finishing the packing.  This is a painting I did this last week.  I LOVE abstracts and have always wanted to try a large (for  me this is large) painting.  This really has quite a few coats of paint, ink sprays and graze.  There was modeling paste added for texture and stenciling just because I wanted something besides squares..........thus the bold white (not real sure about that bold white, but I'm not re-painting it....LOL).
Below are some close ups and the final picture is of it hanging on my living room wall.  I don't normally hang MY art work in the rest of the house, but I needed a spot of color in this corner.
Unruly Paper Arts has a RAQ 1: tantalizing textures challenge that will end tomorrow, I am entering this right at the last minute.  PLUS they have a RAQ 2 : Stenciling challenge so I'm putting this in THAT too.

I do hope you will drop by and vote for me!
So that's it for me, short huh?  I will ne without the intranet for the next week, not sure if I will be able to view comments on my phon.  It is kind of a way out in the middle on nowhere place.....but fun!
See you next week.
Inky hugs

Here it is on the wall.  That bold white kind of mimics the branches in the pot.  Well, what do ya know about that??

  1. It is the perfect piece for that spot.

  2. Krisha what a fabulous piece of wall art. I love the funky tree in white against all those blocks of color. Thanks so much for joining us at Unruly PaperArts this month. Danie xx

  3. It is perfect in the spot you have for it. Enjooyed looking at the close ups with the texture, etc.

  4. This is gorgeous, Krisha! It looks amazing hanging on your wall. Hugs
