WOYWW 280 And the Wind Blows

Betsy is silently waiting my return as this is how I left her Monday night, full of Halloween bits and pieces for a couple of step style cards.  All the die cuts were made on the Cricut using the Haunted Holidays cartridge.  There is the glass of dirty WATER, looks like milk this week....LOL  I'll have  to explain that one of these days.  Last week I said I didn't care for my new Ott light, that is the base there on the left.  It isn't the light itself, love Ott light, but the design of the thing.  As you can see, I can't see, according to the two pair or reading glasses laying there.  I always try to keep a pair on Betsy and happened to be wearing a pair when I came in to snap a picture of my cell phone.

This is the message that kept accruing on all cell phones as an "Alert" as I was procrastinating about joining the WOYWW gang this week.  Yep, procrastinating cause the Playhouse is sitting outside (most likely covered with dust by now) and I really need to be getting it loaded for a trip this weekend.  We JUST decided to take it yesterday, since our youngest son gave us a little more information about a benefit BBQ he is doing for one of his employees this weekend and asked his dad to help cook.......LOL
Okay, so I'm off and running, BUT I will make as many desks as I can and return any visits, but it will be a little later, or most likely when I need a break......just remember I'm in California so later might be tomorrow for some across the pond.......grin

Hi Krisha, loving the Halloween cards! The die cuts are ace. Dust storms are something we don't get over here- way too much rain for that, lol. I also have to use reading glasses, and have a few pairs about the house- some on my workdesk, a pair by my pc( just in case), a pair downstairs for actually reading with too!Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #38 xx

Funny but my jar of water also goes a milky colour then again it can go a grey colour to. It's nearly Halloween not that its very big over here in the UK although it seems to increase each year. We did have a dust storm a few months ago but it's very rare here - too damp. Have a lovely week Anita WOYWW #49

Am loving the witchy quality of Betsy this week! Can see you're setting up for Halloween. I hope you have a good time away but be careful if those storms happen.
Thanks for dropping by :-)

Your Halloween die cut images are great and it looks like possibly a piece of Graphic 45 paper off to the left? Their style is so unmistakable, usually. I don't have any reading glasses, but I desperately need some. lol Happy WOYWW from Laura #63
Love the Halloween dies and look foward to seeing what you do with them. Please don't send us any dust storms, I don't like the sound of them. It is raining here at the moment.
Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x 41

Wow! And I thought dust was an issue at my house. I can't hold a candle to the kind of dust you're dealing with. I hope it clears soon. April #62

Appears I'm not the only one getting in the Halloween spirit this week. Definitely my favorite holiday though Christmas pushes in close second.

Love that cartridge. Never thought I'd use it much. Now I'm rethinking LOL

I feel for you, my dear. With your dry conditions, a dust storm is ALL you need!! Good luck at the bbq and have fun with your son and family this weekend.

Looks like Halloween cards will soon abound at your place.

OMG! Last year it was warning after warning about this or that here in Oklahoma. Dirt, dust, rain, tornadoes, earthquakes etc. Used to be this was a boring place except in the spring with tornadoes. Now we have more earthquakes! No fault line just fracking for gas and oil. Have fun at the son's barbeque! Thanks for stopping by my desk earlier. VIckie #76

Lots of scary stuff going on on your desk! It's all looking great!
Now this is the third white wooden desk tidy I've seen today while desk hopping..... They must be very handy.
Dust storm. O dear, hope you got the stuff safe before the worst of it. We live in a very arid area too but it's not too bad. There is always dust in the air so everything always has a layer of dust on it (indoors too I'm afraid) but luckily we hardly get any dust storms.
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder,
Have a good week

Looks more like a milk of magnesia type remedy than straightforward milk. And I can tell its not milk Miss Krisha, because there's no pile of cookies! Hope your trip s safe and sound and that the kids enjoy your efforts over the playhouse!
