Some OLD (as in 1999) pictures that prove that it DOES snow here in SOCAL.  This happens about every 10 - 15 years.  It has been this cold this month, but no moisture to provide the snow, but we are due for it to happen again.

This storm caused a massive power outage and closed the schools for three days.  If you live east and north of here you are probably laughing and thinking that this is just an other day.  BUT you must remember southern Californian's do not know how to drive in "weather"  LOL

Thanks for stopping by and if you have made it this far please leave me a comment so I know you were here.

Your snow tag is great. We here in NoCal have been having unusually cold weather (for us) as well. Like you, no moisture with it. That's fine with me, I don't really want any snow.

I love your snow tag with its gorgeous tree. Stunning.

As I was reading along about the snow, I thought about how I would rather drive in deep Kansas snow and ice, than drive with a "trace" of snow on CA streets and interstates. Not only, as you later pointed out, do CA drivers not know how to handle snow, the roads have a huge buildup of oil, which mixes with the snow and is disastrous. I had to laugh when I saw the photos and read your piece. That's funny.
