WOYWW 237 the Push is over

Well, I'm back after skipping WOYWW last week.  What is this?  Well, click on the link and read all about how to play along in this journey of desk hopping hosted by Julia Queen of WOYWW

Here is Betsy, rather quiet after the monster push this morning to get my Christmas cards finished and in the mail.  All that is left is a pile of embellishments, and trims for tags.  On top of the pile are some tags to be made into a tag book and entered into the Unruly Paper Arts challenge, still to be finished. A bunch of Christmas sentiments that need to be put away. The other pile is a pile of tags that I covered with a card, cause it is a DT piece that will pop up after this post.  There is a stamp on a block that needs to be put away, a rosette from the floor, I've picked it up at least a dozen times this week. All the rest is just stuff that is always there.

The one Christmas card left, on the pile, is for some friends that are coming for dinner this Saturday night.  Small dinner party with friends we haven't seen in a while. Both couples have moved out of the neighborhood, one lives way up north in the summer, and just winters here. The 6 of us used to spend New Years Eve together, here, with a formal dinner and a lot of laughs.  All three families used to go to our cabin, up in the mountains together, so there is a lot of history between all of us. It will be fun to be all together again, only now we will be talking about our grandchildren! LOL

Time for me to go a snooping...................
Inky Hugs

Hi Krisha, love that Christmas card on your desk, and your Christmas catch up with old friends sounds exactly what the spirit of Christmas is supposed to be. Re the Poinstttia die, to give you an idea of size, the largest layer of the flower is a tad over 2" wide- it was the fact it was much smaller than the Nestie one that made me buy it. You can put it on a smaller card, without it taking over. Wishing you a Happy and Peaceful Christmas and New Year, from me & my Beloved Hubby. Huge Christmas Hugs, Shaz #44 xx

Catching up with friends is always the best, you can talk for hours and hours. Must be a good feeling to have Christmas all sorted and tucked away ready to start and finish. I might have to check back and see what you have in the DT project you are hiding.

Happy WOYWW
