It's Apple Season

Well, here in our neck of the woods it is the beginning of apple season.  They grow in the higher, cooler elevations better than here in the hot valley......but it is just a short drive and we enjoy it.

So when I saw that Just Us Girls was having a word challenge this week, and the word is APPLE I thought I'd play along.  The apple is a die cut, as well as the black shadow, before layering them I added more color to the designer paper with Gelatos.  The background paper and the sentiment paper are from my scrap box.  The sentiment is from 7 Gypsies.  The apple script, behind the apple is a stamp from A Stamp in the Hand ( very old....still wood mounted)

Getting everything all layered up made this card eligible for the Allsorts Challenge: layers

I do hope you take the time to check out each of these challenges and all the hard work the DTs have done to inspire everyone for these challenges.

Love that apple as well as the sentiment! Very pretty card! Thanks for playing with Just Us Girls!
It will soon be apple season here, but more so in MO than KS. I adore this card, and I actually LIKE that you used a wood mounted stamp. I have no idea why people buy wood mounted stamps, then remove the rubber from the wood. I find the wood mounts to be the best stamps. Just my 26 cents even though nobody asked.
