WOYWW 256 Where there's multi goings on!

Betsy is loaded with multi projects at the moment, we've had a super busy, creative day.  This is a view I normally don't show, it is from just inside the door, giving you a longer view of Betsy.  It really doesn't look that bad..........................................

Until you get a closer look.  Journal pages, one drying and two (one is hidden) waiting to be posted, both laying on the stamp binder that is out and those stamps belong in. A package of new calligraphy pens (unopened) remote for music, cell phone  Rejected flowers around the cold coffee mug, pens, pencil, scissors, glue pot, small pot with bleach in it.......don't ask! A card I have struggled with all morning, finally giving up and going to the gym.  I finally decided it was the red card base I didn't like, so back to square one, or was that square three??????  Do you ever have this problem?  You would think a good work out at the gym would make the gears in my head do something besides grind away...... or at least to do it more silently....LOL

Keeping it short so that I can link up to WOYWW when the Queen, Julia sets it all up so we can go galloping around the world stopping at the many different kinds of desks as there are deskers.

Happy WOYWW
Inky Hugs
Krisha

Betsy is sure getting a work out today/tonight. Like you, I agree the red doesn't work with the flower. But I always love what you make, so I know it will turn out fantastic in the end.

BTW, my rocking horse AB fell apart awhile back because the book wasn't stitched, like I thought it was. So, after seeing all those awesomely awesome gifts you included in the book you sent, the wheels are turning, and I think I'll use them to enhance the old pages I made in the book. Just need to find a large book, now. Thought you should know how happy I am that you sent all that fodder. Love it all.

Do I ever have that problem?????are you kidding me. That's why I end up with so many different die cuts spread about...no that doesn't work try this...no try that. Betsy looks great...all up and ready to rock. Be well Carole #68

Lots of fun there! Those pages are coming along so nicely! I bet after your break you will finish up your card. I sometimes have to walk away too, or pick them up another day when I am frustrated with one. Bleach left on a desk would be a danger for me...either I would spill it, or grab it as water as I am a spaz. Enjoy the day! Winnie#60

Oh yes! Definitely, I have those projects that just get stuck. It is so encouraging to me to hear others struggle now and then too. Your art journal page on the left is gorgeous! The work of art in the center of the desk looks really pretty, is that what's giving you fits? Sure looks pretty from this angle! #73

Ah, so nice to see the long view of Betsy today ... looking very busy too. I'm frankly amazed, and full of admiration, at how much you've squeezed into such a small space! I definitely get stuck on some projects ... and I do wander off and take a break, though you find me going to the gym for that :) Have a great week. Elizabeth x #70

Betsy is looking great this week, Krisha, and it's nice to see the alternative view. I love the pool of light from the lamp, giving an inviting-looking glow! Lots going on, and so much colour and interest. I really like how you've got your work space organised, too!

Thanks for your lovely comment. For several years in our old house I struggled with a combined office/studio space and neither worked properly, so when we moved here, and I had a better idea of what I wanted, I designed it with the builder and he made this incredible space for me - I still can't believe how lovely it is, and what a pleasure it is to work in. There's a separated off bit off the room which is my office, and the dividing wall provides storage space for both rooms.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi, Krisha -- I like the flowers very much, but I think you're right about the red background. I think maybe there's not enough contrast between the color(s) of the flowers and the background. Hope you had a good workout and have more time to "play" on Betsy. Happy WOYWW. ~ Laura #90 [http://bookworm.typepad.com/]

Such a fun and colourful desk you have! Yes I do have that problem, all the time - unfortunately it doesn't inspire me to go to the gym though! I must just ask .... why is there a Spam tin on your workdesk?! :o) Annie C #74

Betsy looks like she's on overload at the moment! I'm like you in that I've always got several projects on the go, as well as fresh ones percolating in my head. Where we differ is that I don't do the gym! Have a great week, Chris # 15

I ah thought that was why they invented jello molds... you know so you could pile up all those rejected things until the time comes when you may use them someday... :) I love your mug too! thanks for the visit! ~Stacy #87

So fun to see your work space...it is lived in! yes indeed, frustration is what happens when something just isn't working. I usually walk away and leave it for a couple of days. Then if I can't make it work it may get torn up to go into another collage!

Hi Krisha, love that view of your desk and room, you can see wonderful creativity and craftiness abounds within this space!! I hate it when soemthing doesn't go the way I think it should, it means I have to walk away and give it some space then it all falls into place. Annette #6

Hi Krisha thanks for visiting earlier - wow what a super busy desk ! I have been having a mental block on journalling recently - so lovely to see you working on some lovely pages Ali #27
I frequently have that problem. I get my ideas usually when I am driving and cannot even write myself a note. I am also very "good" at having multiple projects all going on at the same time. I am looking forward to seeing some of your finished projects. xx Maggie #61
