Summer Of Color

SOC prompt this week is 1 red, 1 red, and a metallic
My journal page this week was started with Gesso and an old credit card to swipe on the Gesso, while it was still wet the red was added.  Then came the gold, just dropped here and there, and while the gold was still wet drops of alcohol were dropped into it, and a few spritz of water.

The circles were made with a toilet paper tube, dipped in paint, stamped and some were pulled across the page.

Since Hannah and Rachel have joined me for SOC this year I don't get any step by step photos, 'cause I'm busy taking their pictures.....*grin*

Their post are up next, I hope you take a moment to take a look at their journals and PLEASE leave them a comment.
They are so thrilled  by the comments you leave on their posts.
Thank you to ALL of you that do leave them a comment every week.

what a great page to begin with-I hope you don't cover up too much of it:)
Love this so much! You used this week's SOC colors beautifully. What a great start you have to your art journal page! I can't wait to see what Hannah and Rachel come up with this week!

Great page, love the combination! Ruth x
There is SO much energy in this piece, Krisha. It's fun to read how you made it, too.
I can tell you had as much fun making yours as the girls did theirs. Very creative to do it without brushes, too!
