Last Challenge of SOC

We have already come to the last challenge by Kristin for Summer Of Color over at Twinkle Twinkle.  WOW! How fast that 6 weeks flew by!
So the challenge colors for this last challenge are raspberry, tangerine and a pop of lemon.  Kristin came up with these pretty colors while watching the sunset up in the mountains.......lucky girl!! (grin)

I have found a "new" challenge for myself:  Graffiti Art, or Lettering Art, or Street Art....it goes by many different names.  Oh, so illegal to get caught doing this on anything but YOUR own paper, but I have always secretly admired it.  I mean it does making watching a looooong train go by, at the rail road crossing, more enjoyable. (grin)

So here is one of my attempts at it, in my art journal.  Let me know what you think?

your lettering is wonderful
wishing you more fun with it!
The first time I saw graffiti was in CA (LA and the San Fernando Valley) in the mid-80s. Yes, I was really sheltered (grin). I was really impressed with it, and even back then, looked at it as art. My friends thought I was NUTS. They said if I had to live with it showing up in MY neighborhood, under the bridges, etc., I would not like it.

To this day, I still like the looks of some of it. There are many different styles, of course, and I like the ones that aren't vulgar. I really LIKE the looks of your graffiti. It looks so colorful AND so well done. You could paint this graffiti on the side of my house ANY day (grin).
I love what you did with this week's colors and how you used the acronym!!! So cool! It is sad that soc has come to and end! HUGS!!!

WEll i think you did very well indeed! :) I have seen some on the trains around here too. And honestly i think they should invite artist including street artist to come and paint on their trains legally. Wouldn't that be a lovely way to brighten everyone's day?! Hugs! deb

Your graffiti art looks great in this week's colors.
Hi Krisha, I thought I had missed you on WOYWW but I can see you have been otherwise occupied.
I love the Graffiti art, gorgeous colours too.
Happy crafting, Angela x

Great use of the challenge colors. I need to work on lettering and like the idea of graffiti art (on my own paper of course).

Hi Krisha, and wow love your graffiti, those colours are stunning. I have to admit that I too love graffiti, I work in the centre of town and all the building are really run down and tired so a little artwork brightens the place up

Great lettering! Wonderful use of this week's colours. I too am an admirer of graffiti art, but not graffiti artist. :)
