WOYWW 266

Woah! Look at all the color on Betsy this week.  It has been a couple of weeks since I have had a chance to link up with Julia at The Stamping Ground for WOYWW.  Life does have a way of getting in the way of play time.

Front and center is a SOC page I am working on for this week, with my extra eyes sitting on top, my calendar, to the left, a well used paper plate on the right.  I use and reuse a paper plate as a pallet for my acrylic paints, once they have a good coat of acrylic paint they are water proof.  A few bottles of acrylic paint, bottle of water and a nasty cleaning rag round off the picture.

Keeping it short and sweet to the point, as are the non-rules of WOYWW.  This is a Tuesday night photo, as I am not planning on doing anything else, but going to bed.  It was 108' (F) here today, and after a week at the beach it feels more like 180" ..........yuck!  This kind of heat really wears me down, thank goodness for air conditioning ( well, until the electric bill comes in :(  )

Please let me know you came a calling

Inky Hugs
Krisha

I agree, I wish it could be play time all the time! Some days I have to struggle a bit to get in my crafty time, but it's always worth it. You have such a nice workspace! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #57

Hi Krisha, good to see you again. Had a bit of an acrylic paint disaster this week. I've had some in bottles forever, went to use a couple, and wow, have they dried up!Added some water to see what happens, not overly hopeful though. I think they've gone to the Great Paint Palette in the sky, lol. Have a great week, hugs, Shaz #19 xx
I have an extra pair of those eyes, too! Oh my 108 degrees, I can't imagine.

See, that is exactly what I have ( 2 ott lights) so, I am grinning from ear to ear because, I get the whole ( you have 2 *gasp!* ) thing from people in real life. haha. Isn't that funny what we notice going on in other people's spaces?
ooh its even more miserable hot at your house, hope it cools off soon! Thanks for the visit! ~Stacy #72

Glad you had a good time down at the beach too! There is something about sea air that is just good for the soul. I don't think I could function in your home temps though...I'd be a puddle on the floor!
Love the bright bold colours of your artwork...so lovely to see :-)
Hugs, LLJ 21 xx

Thanks for visiting earlier Krisha, I am late today due to a busy work day - boo! I too have air con, but can't have it on through the night, as Hubby is a light sleeper and it sounds like a jet engine taking off!! Love the double ott lites on your desk. Cx #69

Hi Krisha, it's been a while since I stopped by, so hope all is well with you. That is a lovely colourful page on your desk. Don't envy you that heat, I don't seem to be able to cope with the heat the same these days (not that we get those sorts of temperatures here in Yorkshire)think it must be an age thing lol

Always such a great space with amazing projects. I think crafters are the busiest people we always have so many projects and things to do.

Well, Krisha, Betsy certainly is looking colour co-ordinated today, with all that lovely blue and red! Love the page you have made.

Thanks for your lovely comment, and for the encouragement re the Battle of the Bulge lol! So far no visible change, but that will come, no doubt. I have found cutting down and eating sensibly just doesn't work for me as I fall off the wagon and don't stick to it, but the 5:2 is definitely do-able for me because of being able to eat normally most of the time.

Thank you for subscribing to my Youtube channel! All followers welcome! I hope you enjoy the videos. I've still got a bit of a backlog to edit but very busy at the moment so not sure when I'll get them uploaded.

We are fortunate not to have any buildings or trees overshadowing our large roof, and have been assured that it is an ideal setting for the solar panels and we should do very well financially. They are coming this afternoon to start the work!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Love the color on Betsy this week. The SOC page turned out fab! Yeah I'd say that's a bit warm. ;) Enjoying 98 and lots of humidity here. Busy? Naw, more like scatter brained the past few days. Thanks for the earlier visit! Hugs and Happy WOYWW! Nan G #76

I really love your desk set up! And your sneaky SoC peek - am struggling with the colours this week. Should just sit down and see what happens!

Gosh with all trouble caused by my laptop dying (now my tablet has got a problem too!!!) Having difficulty replying to WOYWW let alone SOC this week. Love your page. Thanks for visiting me and the empathy about my situation with the PC. BJ#9
Hi Krisha, love the journal page, reminds me I need to do some more pages.
Life does have a habit of getting in the way of crafting Lol! However, the desk will wait patiently for your return.
Happy crafting, Angela x #41

Thank you for visiting me, Krisha! Your desk is nice and busy in spite of the heat.
I guess we will never fully recover from no longer having our mom with us, will we?
Happy WOYWW!
