A Little Harvest Card

It is harvest time in my area of the world.  They are shaking and sweeping the almonds........such a dusty time of year!  Allergies run crazy and when they shake the nuts out of the trees all may family have to find an other place to live LOL!!!!

Here is one of the "test" panels I posted HERE.  This one has black Stazon ink and the distressed inks were dabbed onto a piece of plastic and then picked up with a damp brush and applied to the image.
The sentiment was inked with two colors of Memento inks.  The panel was then adhered to a Gina Marie die cut.  I made sure that just the loops were showing to set off the image.

Now there are only 4 more pumpkin panel to deal with.....LOL!

Lovely card Krisha! Oh i remember seeing those shakers when i lived in CA... they are an amazing thing to see if you've never seen it before.. We lived in the Manteca/Lathrop area....lots of almond trees... and cherries and peaches and ... and.... it was an amazing place to live... loved to stop at the fruit stands... Hugs! deb

A lovely card Krisha and I was interested to see the test pieces that you did with various products. I think you're right that at different times we feel like doing different techniques. I was really interested to hear about the almonds being shaken off the trees and would love to see that. I can see how it must be a problem for people with medical conditions though. Barbxx

Lovely card. Nice layout and so colourful. Thanks for joining us at Crafty Cardmakers.

Not sure how and why I missed the Friday entry, but I sure like the comparison you made using all those different coloring tools. I don't have those options. I have scissors and magazines (grin).

This card is lovely. Really lovely.

I live on a dusty, albeit paved, street, but I have friends who tell me they have never seen a house collect dust so fast as mine. And I don't have any almond trees within 1000 miles of me! But I sure get lots of allergies.
Beautiful card Krisha. I love the pumpkins and especially how beautiful the trim is around the edges. Hugs-Erika
