T-Day Rolls Around Again

Getting an early start on Monday for T Stands for Tuesday, a gathering of super great bloggers over at Elizabeth's...The Altered Book Lover Blog.  I'm showing my, fall back to, picture from Pinterest again, since I've finished my coffee, and my protein drink and now just having some water......ALL of which you have seen many times.......and I LIKE THIS photo....*grin*

Since last we gathered for T-day I joined some friends for a Brush and Blush paint night.  This is what I painted.......everyone pretty much paints the same thing.  There are a few that get adventurous and paint some thing different....but not many.  All these painting are geared more for the beginners...and there is only about a two hour slot to paint the whole picture..........but I like to go paint with my friends anyway.  I am going to repaint this picture and give it more of a "Krisha" spin to it, adding more detail and a few other things........Might even work on that this afternoon.....*grin*

Saturday I spent most of the early afternoon using the Cricut to cut football helmets, footballs, stars and names for Hannah and Rachel's annual poster making for their football teams. Jalynn and her Mom joined us Sunday afternoon, and between the three girls they had to make 15 posters.  I wasn't the one taking photos so I didn't get any of the finished posters......but I will say that my son and DIL now have a very sparkly patio!!

That's about it....it had been a pretty quiet week around here. There is one more load of laundry and I'll have that wrapped, dishwasher is perrring away in the kitchen, a few more chores and I think it will be time to dig out some paint and have a go at reinventing that painting.

How is your week shaping up?

Inky Hugs
Krisha

I like your painting! What fun! I need to take a class; I have all these ideas but not much technique. Great week here. We finally got some substantial rain --- almost six inches ---- so everything on the farm is wet and squishy instead of crispy!
You did an excellent job cutting those helmets. That was fantastic. Loved them. Glitter is good as long as it's not at my place!

That was a lovely old truck, but I can see you reworking it to meet your higher standards. Still, you did an excellent job.

Thanks for sharing the art, the glitter, the beginning of the posters, and your water with us for T this soon to be Tuesday.
I have never done one of those paint parties but I like your piece. Bet it was a lot of fun. And you look like making the helmets was great fun too. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

fun painting! i think anyone can have a good time painting the same imagery and then giving it your own spin-it's all bout the perspective. Glitter-oh yeah! Happy T day!

Love your fun Halloween art, great idea to get together with others, and those die-cuts are fabulous. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
I would love to join such a paint party! The painting looks super - looking forward to how you will do the more personalized one !
Happy T-Day and week.... here the same with the dishwasher and washing machine --they need too much attention these useless subjects - why aren't they able to work self-employed?

I love your cup of coffee and saying - perfect! The paint party sounds fun, a great way to try out new things and experiment, as well as keep in touch with friends who enjoy painting too :-). I bet the posters turned out wonderfully with all those fabulous helmets, stars and sparkles - awesome! Wishing you a Happy T Day! J :-)

A Paint party sounds like a really fun idea. Can I come too? Your painting looks good by any standards but I appreciate you don't get to put your own slant on it during the 'party'. Looking forward to seeing what you do to it....
I love your cut-outs. Making things with a group of people is always more fun. I'm sure the posters were received well.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Sorry I'm so late in visiting.
Your painting is wonderful. Love that you likely left a trail of glitter behind you. :)
