A Little Journal Love

Hello happy bloggers, happy Wednesday!  I have had the LAST page of my tangle journal waiting for quite a while with a spritzed and sprayed background.  Last Thursday afternoon I finally grabbed a few markers and pens and took them out to the sofa.  I usually spend the morning working on Betsy, and blogging, but by the afternoons I need to get out of this room and away from the computer.  That's IF I don't have errands or appointments to make, such as today as soon as I'm finished with this post it will be time to "get with today's program".

Anyway, back to the journal page and the graffiti, or I'll never get ready to run errands.  Jackie DeShannon's "old" hit "What the World Needs Now is Love" (sweet love) kept popping into my head and that is how this came about.  Once I had it all laid out and lined in black marker it looked really dark and FLAT!  So a metallic gold marker and a white gel pen came into play.  It really doesn't belong in THIS journal, since it isn't a tangle, but none the less here it is.....LOL and the journal is now finished.

I started this journal almost 2 years ago to the date, first page was completed 9-18-12.  I'm so glad I date the pages  when  I finish them.  It is fun to go back through them and see the dates.  I added the date after I had scanned this one.

So now, my friends, I am getting on my running shoes and heading out the door.  Thus there is no WOYWW post this week.  PLEASE let me know you came by.

Inky Hugs

Congrats on finishing your journal. Once again I say your lettering is very interesting.

Well, I came by, but it was already Friday by the time I did. This final entry in your journal is awesomely awesome. Love it.

That's a really cool and colorful graffiti design, Krisha! I think it's awesome that you did this journal and date the pages so you can look back. It must be fun to see how your art evolves, too!! Hugs, Darnell
