SOC-CBQ&L

Say what???  Ok, SOC stands for Summer Of Color.  and of course CBQ&L is for the Craft Barn Quotes and Lyrics challenge.  I think I got both covered with this journal page. A Prima doll stamp, colored with pencil, acrylic painted background and hand written and sticker words.

The SOC challenge is to use Aqua, Yellow and a splash of Hot Pink........ok, check!
The CBQ&L challenge are the word(s) Mountain or Mistake..................ok, check!

Guess it is time to link up to these challenges

Thanks for stopping by..........PLEASE let me know you came by so I can return the visit.

Were I so lucky as to be able to think far enough ahead to combine both challenges into one. You are one clever gal. Must be the BBQ sauce or maybe the nuts from the weekend! Needless to say, I was impressed that you made both challenges work so well with one entry.

Great use of the color combo. I'd find that one a little difficult.

I do like the way you have used the colours here, the girl in the yellow frame, the sparing use of the pink and I do like the art itself, a very attractive page,

Excellent idea to combine the two and your page is beautiful. The colours are perfect and the quote is a good idea for anyone. :o))

Clever use of colours. love how you worked the area behind the doll blending the edges
Love the sentiment with the girl. Great piece of art.
The prima doll seems to be walking out of the yellow page into the aqua, great
